General Service & Policies

  • How do drop-offs and pick-ups work? We offer three options for your convenience.

    • Option 1 (Contactless Porch Drop-off): You may drop your racket off on our porch at any time without an appointment. Simply text us immediately after dropping it off, and we will bring it inside securely as soon as possible. Please note: You use this option at your own risk, and we assume no liability for lost or stolen equipment left outside. However, our neighborhood is exceptionally safe, and we have never experienced a theft.

    • Option 2 (Scheduled Appointment): You may schedule a specific 15-minute window based off my availability (e.g., 10:00 AM - 10:15 AM) to hand it off in person. Punctuality for scheduled appointments is strictly enforced. If you select a specific time slot, you must arrive within that exact 15-minute window.

    • Option 3 (Immediate Return Appointment): If you are booking an immediate turnaround, your scheduled appointment is an exact time of arrival, not a window (e.g., 10:30 AM sharp).

    • If you are running late for any reason, you are required to text an updated ETA prior to your appointment and receive confirmation from us. If you show up late without prior notice and our explicit confirmation, we will not be available to assist you, receive your equipment, or hand over your gear. No exceptions.

  • How will I know when my racket is ready? We will proactively contact you the moment your racket is strung and ready for pick-up. Please wait for our notification rather than periodically messaging to ask for status updates. Constant inquiries disrupt our workflow and slow down turnaround times for everyone. Please clearly communicate your timeline expectations at the time of drop-off. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your schedule and meet your requested deadline within our standard turnaround window. Customers who repeatedly send spam messages requesting status updates will be assigned a lower service priority.

  • What types of rackets do you service? To ensure the highest quality stringing and prevent machine damage, we only service carbon/graphite rackets in good condition. We do not string aluminum rackets or frames with pre-existing structural damage. We reserve the right to decline service if a racket does not meet these condition standards.

  • What stringing methods and patterns do you use? For badminton rackets, we utilize professional, industry-standard patterns including Yonex 4-knots, SZ Haribito modified 2-knots, and Li-Ning 2 knots. We guarantee high-quality craftsmanship: proper knotting, accurate tension, no double pulls, no incorrect weaves, and no significant changes to your frame's shape. For tennis rackets, standard 4 knots or 2 knots pattern will be used depending on the racket.

  • Can I request a specific string that isn't on your menu? Yes! While we carry the most popular high-performance options, some uncommon string models can be special-ordered upon request. Just ask us during your consultation.

  • What string and tension should I pick? String choice and tension are highly subjective and depend entirely on your individual playstyle, experience level, and personal preference. Because we have not observed your gameplay, it is difficult for us to provide a perfectly tailored recommendation. To help you make an informed decision, we highly recommend reading our dedicated blog posts on string properties, or even utilizing an AI tool to research the best setup based on your specific playing style and needs.

Disclaimers & Warranties

  • What happens if a racket breaks during the stringing process? Stringing places an immense amount of stress on a racket frame. While we take the utmost care—and a frame breaking on our machine is an extremely rare occurrence—older rackets can suffer from sunken frames or hidden structural defects that cannot be seen visually. Because a racket is not meant to last forever, we cannot be held liable for rackets that fail or break during the stringing process due to these underlying issues. By utilizing our stringing service, you acknowledge and agree to this disclaimer.

  • My strings broke shortly after getting them strung. Is there a warranty? Strings are wearable items and are not meant to last indefinitely; occasionally, they can even break during the first play session. The most common cause of premature breakage is a "mis-hit" near the edge of the frame. We highly recommend choosing a tension that fits your skill level, as over-tensioning does not improve durability or gameplay.

  • Do you offer a discount for mis-hits? Yes! We know breaking a freshly strung racket on a mis-hit is incredibly frustrating. If your new string breaks within one week of your re-stringing due to a mis-hit, we offer a 20% discount on your next stringing job.
